Key Club is a international student led organization that encourages leadership through serving the community, emphasizing values such as leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness. There are 1000 clubs from different schools in more than 38 countries

In Key Club, you may attend events where you make new friendships with people from all over the CJUHSD and many more schools all over California, Nevada, and Hawaii. We are in the California Nevada Hawaii District Bees, Region 13 Lionfish, and Division 15 North Giraffes. The district includes many regions, and the region includes many divisions.

Our division includes schools from our Chaffey District and more, and we work together with people in Key Club who go to other schools in order to aim for our goals in achieving a certain number of community service hours, fundraising for the Pediatric Trauma Program, and for the Eliminate Project. Student leaders in Key Club run meetings, plan projects, and hold elected leadership positions at the club, district and international levels.

Key Club provides you with many community service opportunities with new friendships and it supports my growth as a student because it has helped me become a better leader, speaker, and has given me the opportunity to meet many people and care more about the community. As a student but also an officer of Key Club, I have learned to manage my time properly and to utilize my resources wisely.

Advice I would have would be to join Key Club or a different community service club, start to get involved with it, and find a passion for it because it is a great way to give back to your community while enjoying service with a social aspect.

Key Club is involved with the community Kiwanis and it provides students with opportunities to apply for scholarships and recognition.
